Introduction
Be Bright Fitness Pty Ltd trading as Areum Aesthetics ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or make a purchase.
Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information:
- Personal Information: Name, email address, shipping address, phone number
- Payment Information: Credit card details (processed securely via Stripe)
- Order Information: Products purchased, order history
- Device Information: Browser type, IP address, device identifiers
- Campaign Information: If you reach our site from an advertisement or a link with campaign codes (such as UTM parameters) and choose "Analytics only" or "Accept all" in our cookie notice, we keep those codes, your landing page and the time of that first visit in a cookie on your device for up to 90 days. If you then apply for a professional account, we save them with your application. If you chose "Accept all", we also save Meta's click and browser identifiers (the _fbc and _fbp cookie values, and the fbclid code from the link you followed) with your application. We keep this information for as long as we keep your application.

- To measure which of our advertisements bring us professional account applications and orders and, only if you choose "Accept all" in our cookie notice, to help Google and Meta show our advertising to likely customers

Marketing emails
We only send marketing emails (offers, new products, event and training invitations) if you've asked us to — by choosing "Yes" on our Professional Partner application or a newsletter signup — and then confirmed by clicking the link we email you. Marketing is by email only; we don't telemarket or send marketing texts. You can opt out anytime using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by emailing privacy@areumaesthetics.com.au. We action opt-outs within 5 business days. Opting out doesn't affect your application, account or orders.
Trade account emails
Approved trade accounts receive essential account emails: price lists and trade pricing updates, stock and ordering information, and product safety notices. These are part of operating your account, not marketing. Every one identifies us and includes a way to opt out of pricing and stock updates. Order, delivery and safety information is always sent, and current trade pricing is always available in your account.
Proof of consent
When you accept our terms or opt in to marketing, we keep a record of the wording you saw and your choice, with the date and time, for as long as we may need to prove it (up to 6 years after we last email you in reliance on it). Technical details captured with it (IP address and browser information) are deleted within 2 years of your consent ending. If you unsubscribe, we keep your email address on a do-not-email record so we don't contact you again. To make a privacy complaint, contact privacy@areumaesthetics.com.au first; if you're not satisfied, you can complain to the OAIC (oaic.gov.au).
Professional Partner applications
This is the collection notice shown on our Professional Partner application form, reproduced here in full:
Areum Aesthetics (Be Bright Fitness Pty Ltd, ABN 26 602 059 549) collects the details on this form to assess your application and, if approved, to run your trade account. We can't process your application without them. We record your choices above — with the date, time, IP address and browser information — as proof of what you agreed to. If you reached our site from an advertisement or a link with campaign codes, and chose "Analytics only" or "Accept all" in our cookie notice, we keep those codes, your landing page and the time of that visit with your application, so we can see which advertising works. If you chose "Accept all", we also keep Meta's click and browser identifiers with your application and tell Meta that an application was made, never what it contains. We only send marketing emails if you choose "Yes" and then confirm by clicking the link we email you; every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, or you can opt out anytime at privacy@areumaesthetics.com.au. Training document watermarking
When you download a document from our professional Learning section, we stamp it with your name, email address and the download date, so the copy provided to your account can be identified. The stamp is applied at the moment of download — we do not keep copies of the stamped documents.
Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:
- Payment processors (Stripe) to process transactions
- Shipping carriers to deliver your orders
- Service providers who assist our operations
- Advertising platforms (Google, and Meta Platforms, Inc.) to measure our advertising and to help them show it to likely customers — only if you choose "Accept all" in our cookie notice. "Cookies & Analytics" below says what they receive and what we never send
- Law enforcement when required by law
Some of our service providers (including our email delivery provider) and the advertising platforms named above store or process information outside Australia, principally in the United States. We take reasonable steps to ensure they handle it in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Data Security
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information. All payment transactions are encrypted using SSL technology. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Cookies & Analytics
We use cookies to improve your browsing experience, remember your preferences, and analyse site traffic. Analytics and advertising storage are disabled by default (Google Consent Mode), and the consent notice lets you accept them separately — you can allow analytics without allowing advertising. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) tell us how visitors use the site.
If you choose "Accept all", we also allow Google's advertising cookies and we load the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms, Inc. (United States — "Meta"). Meta then receives the public pages you view on our site — never your account, order, cart, checkout or learning pages, and never a page about a specific treatment. If you submit a professional account application, the Pixel and our own server (through Meta's Conversions API) both tell Meta that an application was made. Each event carries the page address, an event ID, your IP address, browser and device information, and Meta's click and browser identifiers (the _fbc and _fbp cookie values, and the fbclid code from the link you followed). We never send Google or Meta your name, email address, phone number, ABN, credential numbers, the contents of your application, or health information about you. Meta uses this data to measure our advertising, to decide who sees it and to improve its advertising systems, under Meta's own terms and privacy policy. You can see and limit how Meta uses information from other websites in your Meta Accounts Centre ("Your activity off Meta technologies") and at facebook.com/adpreferences.
You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie choices" link in the footer, which brings the consent notice back, and you can control cookies through your browser settings.
